Having made six short films and one feature length compilation of shorts through the generous support of an incredible filmmaking community in Portland, Oregon, writer, director, and actor Vu Pham now stands at a creative precipice. “Horizon” was born of a “hell or high water” determination to leap forward. This film is the culmination of limits embraced and overcome. We refuse to allow our story to be crushed by the insurmountable financial obstacles of a traditional feature length film. By distilling cinema into its most essential elements: story, characters, and ideas, we have created a logistically streamlined production with five actors and three locations of which the primary one constitutes 90% of the film. We possess the raw talent, adaptability, decisive plan of action, and crystal-clear vision to bring this story to life.
